Membership in the Wilson Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, annual commitment of funds, based on your size of business in number of employees. The resources invested by members enable the Chamber to help you develop new customers and clients, new vendors and service providers, business skills, a skilled workforce, a more favorable business climate, peer and professional networks, and community presence. Your Chamber has a wealth of programs and activities that can help your company prosper. All you have to do is get involved! Chamber members are encouraged to “Remember a Member” when fulfilling business and personal needs for goods and services.

NETWORKING AT ITS FINEST!Annual Dinner – More than 400 business people attend the Chamber’s premier event of the year.  Review the accomplishments of the past year and meet the officers for the upcoming year.

Economic Forecast Luncheon – Hear a well-known speaker report on the current state of the economy.  Enjoy an excellent lunch and network with other Chamber members.

 
Triangle East Home & Garden Show - Market your home and garden products and services to over 260,000 people across the region in this new, two-day event.EXPO – Showcase your products and services to thousands in one day and reach potential customers.

Small Business Week – Celebrate small businesses during this week filled with activities designed to keep you informed and updated on business trends and issues facing us in the 21st Century.

Welcome Back Barton – A mini, FREE EXPO designed to welcome back the students, teacher and faculty.  Set up a display and show them what products and services you have to offer them.

Golf Classic – Held annually at a member golf course. Get up a foursome and play Super Ball at one of Wilson’s premiere golf courses.

New Member Reception – Meet other members, learn about Chamber activities and put in a plug for your company.

AM Networks – Quarterly meetings with speakers addressing hot topics.  Come network and stay up on current events.

Committees – Each event requires a committee to help plan and coordinate it.  Volunteering for these events is a great way to network ad be involved in planning some of the finest events in Wilson.

Business After Hours – Mingle in a relaxed atmosphere at different Chamber member businesses.  Enjoy good food, door prizes and often times entertainment.  Meet new contacts and develop business relationships which will hopefully result in new customers.

Chamber Ambassadors – Join the Chamber’s elite volunteer organization.  Promote yourself and your organization while helping the Chamber retain members.

Chamber membership tells your customers that you are a reputable company that actively participates in the local business community. Members are encouraged to display the Chamber Of Commerce plaque and window decal at their business locations.

REFERRALS
When contacted by the public to suggest businesses to fill a particular need, the Chamber refers only Chamber members. This happens many times each day!  You will receive a referral form letting you know who we referred to you and hopefully their contact information and exactly what they are looking for.

Web Site – All members are listed on our web site’s Member Directory with a FREE link from our site to yours.

Sources - Each member receives an alphabetical listing as well as up to five categorical listings in our annual membership directory which has a distribution of over 8000.

E-Chamber Connection – This bi-monthly e-blast is emailed to over 1,500 members and their representatives.  New members will be advertised FREE and have the opportunity to be spotlighted with a complete article and picture.

New Member Sign – Upon membership your business name will be displayed on the Chamber’s new member sign on the corner of Nash and Ward Boulevard – one of the busiest intersections in Wilson.

Ribbon Cuttings – Offered FREE to brand new, recently-opened or relocated businesses.  Cut the ribbon with the mayor of Wilson and have the picture advertised in The Chamber Focus.
